Yangon, Myanmar is a city of 5 million people, and the three children’s homes are all about an hour apart from one another. Time and funds are usually too limited for gathering as a group. In 2016, Remember Nhu hosted its first “Fun Day” for all of the ~85 children in the Yangon homes to spend the day with one another. Children and staff worshipped and listened to teachings together; tasted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the first time; played relay games; relaxed, and enjoyed ice cream. Please consider giving to another “Fun Day” for the children in Yangon, as the children cherish these memories long after the day itself. This next time the “Fun Day” could either be to the zoo or a wildlife park outside of the city.
